Seeing double…

Gen 8 was such a good era for Pokémon, but come November 18, 2022, a new generation of Pokémon is to be ushered in and plenty of new changes await.

From a true open-world experience to version exclusive Professors, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are truly taking main series games in an entirely new direction and we’re all here for it.

So, on the subject of multiple Professors, here’s a run through if all known characters for the upcoming games:

The Two Professors:

For the first time in the series, one of two different professors will appear in your game depending on the version you choose to play.

In Pokémon Scarlet, you will meet Professor Sada, and in Pokémon Violet, you will meet Professor Turo. Each is carrying out research into certain lore passed down in the region.

Nemona:

Your friend, Nemona, has a sunny and energetic disposition, and she absolutely loves Pokémon battles. She’s an experienced Pokémon Trainer and serves as a reliable guide for you on your adventures. She has undisputed skill in battle—though it does also seem that she’s not the best at throwing Poké Balls.

Main Characters:

As one of the main characters, you’ll set off on your adventure. Your outfit will vary depending on whether you play Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet. Who knows what kind of story awaits you?

About Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet:

The newest chapters in the Pokémon™ series, the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games, are coming to the Nintendo Switch™ system later this year. As the main character, you can explore the wide-open world of Pokémon Violet at your own pace. In these games, you’ll be able to enjoy the iconic adventures of the Pokémon series, like battling against wild Pokémon and trying to catch them! Choose either Sprigatito, the Grass Cat Pokémon, Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon, or Quaxly, the Duckling Pokémon to be your first partner Pokémon before setting off on your journey through this new region.

Explore freely in the rich open world of Pokémon Violet – Trainers can explore an open world where the various towns and cities have no borders and blend seamlessly into the wilderness. Pokémon can be discovered all over this expansive region— in the skies, in the seas, in the forests, on the streets, and more! Your outfit will vary depending on whether you play Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet.
