Do you believe in the power of Nopons? If not, now is the time to start because in this Xenoblade Chronicles: Future Connected guide, we’ll be tackling the 12 Nopons you can add to travelling troupe and have them assist you in battle. Wait, what?
Yes, that’s right. There are 12 special Nopon to hunt down, for the Ponspectors from Frontier Village, are an “elite band of surveyors” that is comprised of 3 teams, (Blue – Healing trait, Red – Offensive trait, Yellow – debuffing trait), with 4 members in each group.
By befriending Nopons from all three teams, players can gain access to a “special kind of attack” and the only way to find them is to find the first one, gain information on the location of two other members and embark on an epic quest to find them all and press them for details on the locations of the others. Incidentally, you can happen upon Nopon that aren’t marked on your map and still be able to complete their side quest.
Unfortunately, when you do find them, these Nopon will have issues they will need you to take care of, in the form of side quests, but the Nopon you do gain information on, they will be marked on the map, so at least knowing where they are, becomes a whole lot easier and now, we’re going to tell you where and how to find them, as well as share details on their unlock requirements.
Just before we do jump right into things however, there are 2 main areas of Future Connected to explore, the Bionis’ Shoulder and Alcamoth and we will be dividing the Nopon by their region:
Bionis’ Shoulder Nopon: (x11)
Ponspector Report: Teetoo
EXP: 18 years old
Sex: Male
Team Affiliation: Blue
Location: Outside Cragmaw Caverns
Unlock Requirements: Once you have proceeded far enough in Future Connected’s main story and reached Companion’s Cape, players are now free to head over to Cragmaw Caverns, where they can find Tentoo waiting for them.
Ponspector Report: Tei-Tei
EXP: 15 years old
Sex: Male
Team Affiliation: Yellow
Location: Navvir Highland (Nearest Landmark: Navvir Crossroads)
Unlock Requirements: Once you’ve found and spoken to Tei-Tei, complete the Side Quest “Tei-Tei Lacking Charm.” (Tei-Tei’s charm can be found at Nerthis Necropolis)
Ponspector Report: Evelen
EXP: 4 years old
Sex: Female
Team Affiliation: Yellow
Location: Cinnabar Plateau (Nearest Landmark: Zephyr’s Counsel)
Unlock Requirements: Once you’ve found and spoken to Evelen, complete the Side Quest “Evelen on the Edge.”
Ponspector Report: Faifa

Location: Abaasy’s Dorsum
Unlock Requirements: Once you’ve found and spoken to Faifa, complete the Side Quest “Riddle Faifa This.”

Unlock Requirements: Once you’ve found and spoken to Hekasa, complete the Side Quest “Hekasa’s Labour at Steak.”

Unlock Requirements: Once you’ve found and spoken to Fofora, complete the Side Quest “Favour for Fofora.”

Unlock Requirements: Once you’ve found and spoken to Nonona, complete the Side Quest “Nonona’s Calling.”

Unlock Requirements: Once you’ve reached Barough Plaza and start heading to where you see Dekadeka camped out, near the edge of a cliff, the Side Quest “Incensed Dekadeka,” will commence, should you accept it.

Location: Above Old King’s Testament near Agni’s Skygarden Ruins
Unlock Requirements: Once you’ve found and spoken to Setset, complete the Side Quest “Ready, Setset, Go!”

Location: South of Heroes’ Retreat, Tranquil Tarn and the landmark Prayer Rock
Unlock Requirements: Once you’ve found and spoken to Setset, complete the Side Quest “Tutu’s Lost Property.”

Location: Gran Dell Approach
Unlock Requirements: Once you’ve found and spoken to Wunwun, complete the Side Quest “Priority Wunwun.”

Location: Main Entrance
Unlock Requirements: Once you’ve found and spoken to Drydry, complete the Side Quest “Drydry Entia.”
