When it comes to the Bravely series (2 3DS games, a browser-based game and a mobile offering,) Square Enix has always been quick to tease and celebrate and now they’re at it again.

After last year’s Christmas themed image of Bravely’s Edea Lee, who held Switch Joy-Con and had characters from Octopath Traveler, in the background as ornaments, even more teases are afoot. The first of which is the image relating to Octopath Traveler shipping one million units. There is a reason why the characters are shaped like a butterfly and it’s because they’re deliberately shaped that way, so as to appear as Bravely’s own Airy, which Square Enix has since appeared.

Where things get really interesting though, is the fact that the Twitter account for the Bravely games has now changed its user image to the one we have pictured below:

In English, the Latin text seen (Ad Spes Respondere,) means “To respond to hopes” and the crest just so happens to be the same one as seen in the first trailer for Octopath Traveler. The account has also changed its name to ブレイブリー◯◯◯◯◯” (Bravely ◯◯◯◯◯) with the ◯◯◯◯◯’s clearly being a placeholder, but there’s also a part of a new tweet that reads “Please look forward to the next Square-Enix 11 BD game(s)”

While it would be nice to hope a Bravely Third is becoming a reality, for now all we know is what Square Enix want us to know and right now it’s not a lot, but they’re clearly hinting at something and there is a good chance we might hear something substantial, before this year is over.
