In the final days of March, Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino disclosed to Nikkei that going forwards, all of Level-5’s main titles would come to the Nintendo Switch, with everything that they “have created for 3DS” to “move over to Switch.” Now, as if to back up this piece of news, it has been revealed that in the latest issue of Famitsu, Yo-Kai Watch 4 is Switch bound and will be out this year for Japan.
More than that, Yo-Kai 4 will be getting a super high-grade power up, with regards to its content. It will also include characters (Touma Tsukinami, Natsume Amano, Keisuke Amano and Akinori Arihoshi) from the Yo-Kai Shadowside anime. Just as soon as the Famitsu scans start making the rounds, more information should be gleaned from them, but so far, Yo-Kai Watch 4 is now the 3rd Level-5 game confirmed for Switch, after The Snack World that is out April 12 for Japan, and the eventual Inazuma Eleven Ares. An entirely new IP is also to be revealed this year, which is also most likely to be revealed for Switch in the coming months.
Should any further details come to light, we’ll be sure to share them!
