During the C2E2 Event, Funimation are hosting a panel and have announced that they are currently developing the FunimationNow app for Nintendo Switch. FunimationNow is a streaming app that allows user to view Ad-free anime shows in HD. It also features iconic classics and brand new series just a few hours after first airing in Japan. Episodes will primarily be in Japanese but can also be watched in dubbed English or in Japanese with English Subtitles as soon as they are available.

FunimationNow has a monthly subscription fee of $5.99 per month if you are thinking of downloading it once it is fully developed and released on Switch.
