Time to go Bananas!
For anyone wondering when the next Nintendo Direct might be, an answer has emerged. With Donkey Kong Bananza being the next main Nintendo release for the Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo has announced via the Nintendo Today! app a Donkey Kong Bananza-focused Nintendo Direct is to take place this week, on June 18, 2025. The presentation is expected to air at 06:00 PT / 09:00 ET, whereas in the UK, it will be available from 14:00 UTC.

The livestreamed presentation will offer a deep dive into the underground world of Donkey Kong Bananza
June 16th, 2025 – Tune in on Wednesday, June 18th at 15:00 CEST for a livestreamed Donkey Kong Bananza Direct presentation, featuring roughly 15 minutes of information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game.
To tune in, check out the Nintendo Direct website or the Nintendo UK YouTube channel, where the broadcast will be livestreamed.
Donkey Kong Bananza releases exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 on July 17, 2025.
