The clue is in the name.
For those of you in possession of Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers that you were hoping to be able to use for Nintendo Switch 2 games, you should think again. Following an update to a product page for the Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers, Nintendo has clarified the product is only available for Nintendo Switch games and not exclusive Switch 2. The exact wording can be seen here:
If you change the country/region setting for your Nintendo Account, any vouchers you have may become unusable. Changing your country/region setting back to the setting you had when you purchased the vouchers will render them usable again as long as they are still within their validity period and as long as you still have an active membership to Nintendo Switch Online for your Nintendo Account. Redeeming Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers may be restricted if age-based purchasing restrictions are enabled in the Nintendo Account Parental Controls settings. You can have a maximum of 8 Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers at a time.
A voucher can only be used for a pre-order if the expiry date for the voucher is after the release date for the product.
The software titles available via voucher may change.
Regarding Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games
Please note that Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers cannot be redeemed for Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive games.
So, since the vouchers only last 12 months from the day you purchased them, you may as well use them for games you were holding out on now, while you still can.
