Hey folks, Mike here! As some of our longtime readers may already know, our good friends over at Rapid Reviews UK have a podcast that they host every Sunday on Twitch. I was invited as a guest this week (Sunday 22nd October, 2023), to talk about my experience at EGX, which I attended the weekend previously, alongside Pete Beckett, the podcast’s co-host and personal friend of mine.
Also joining the podcast as a guest was Middle Aged Gamer Guy (aka MAGG), who also attended the event, and I missed out meeting in person as our paths did not cross on the day I attended. Rounding out the group was Kiley Wilde, the hostess with the mostest of the Rapid Reviews Radio Podcast.
To say we all spoke at length about EGX would be an understatement as the show came in at around two and a half hours as we covered the good, the bad, and the ugly bits about the UK’s largest event. We talked about the games we played, panels we attended, the spectacles that occurred, and everything in between.
