With the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, Gen 9 is well and truly underway, bringing with it a brand-new region and a whole host of new Pokémon, alternate forms and the introduction of Paradox Pokémon. With plenty to learn with regards to evolving these monsters, we’re on hand to provide a series of small guides dedicated to evolving the Paldean additions. In this guide, we’re focusing on how to evolve Pawmi into Pawmo and then Pawmo into Pawmot:

How to Evolve Pawmi into Pawmo and Pawmo into Pawmot:

Why wait to catch the hard-hitting Pawmot when you can first catch an adorable Pawmi and simply put the Pokémon through its paces and here’s how:

  • Catch a Pawmi.
  • Train the Pawmi to level 18.
  • Once Pawmi has evolved into Pawmo, using the Let’s Go! feature, walk 1.000 steps with Pawmo.
  • Once 1,000 steps have been walked, level Pawmo up one level. If you have met the required number of steps, Pawmo will evolve.

Paldea Pokédex no: 23

Classification: Mouse Pokémon

Type: Electric / Fighting

Height: 1’4”

Weight: 14.3 lbs.

Description: When its group is attacked, Pawmo is the first to leap into battle, defeating enemies with a fighting technique that utilizes electric shocks.

About Pawmot:

Classification: Hands-On Pokémon

Paldea Pokédex no: 24

Type: Electric / Fighting

Height: 2’11”

Weight: 90.4 lbs.

Description: This Pokémon normally is slow to react, but once it enters battle, it will strike down its enemies with lightning-fast movements.
