The Miketendo64 Team

With the internet being the ever powerful entity it is, constantly churning out new rumours and news on celebrities, film, politics and our favourite, videogames. It can sometimes be difficult to keep track of it all and with only a small team and busy work schedules, it is getting a little harder to provide our readers with great quality content on their Nintendo Gaming needs. Fortunately, after posting on our site that we are looking for collaborators to help us in maintaining great content for our website, we have received a lot of responses answering our call and we are happy to announce that we will be able to increase great content on our site including news, reviews and feature articles. All those listed here are the kind souls that will be helping with Miketendo64 from time to time Along with resident Members Mike Scorpio & Jack Longman.

“Hello All, Mike Scorpio here, I started this website out of my obsession and love for videogames and after spending so much time scouring the internet to find news about my favourite games consoles and new games on the horizon, I decided to put this website together so that others would be able to save time with their searches. I have always been a Nintendo fan ever since I was little, my first console was the NES which I loved and have found memories of. The passion extended to the Nintendo 64 (best console ever) the Wii and the Wii U. I love my Wii U to bits and can not fathom why the rest of the world doesn’t like it (maybe because it doesn’t have FIFA, I don’t know). Anyhow,  with the support and following of this website growing, I realised that I couldn’t manage it on my own so I have roped my own brother in to help (Jack) and have enlisted the help of the other fine souls you will find on this page.”

“Hey everyone, I’m Jack, Mike Scorpio’s partner in crime! As a gamer who found his virtual wings in the 90’s I had the pleasure to enjoy games during a period of time when Nintendo and Rare Games were working together, producing the likes of Banjo Kazooie, Conker’s Bad Fur Day and of course Goldeneye. It was also the decade where he saw Link come to life in his first full 3D debut and be accompanied by the fairy we can never get out of our heads, Navi. I was hooked from the get-go and all these years later, now older and a working journalist, instead of just playing the games I love and their latest installments, I’m writing about them too.

As far as videogames go, my favourite series is the Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy is a close second. I’m also highly obsessed with Pokémon. I have tried and tried to go out of it, but just as soon as I get it out of my system, Nintendo and the Pokémon Company find a way to draw me back in. But I’m not all about videogames, I do have other interests such as scuba diving, working on my novels, being an admin at a small, yet exclusive Zelda group on Facebook and just generally messing about.

Well that’s me, if you want to hear more about me, well you’re just going to have to take me out for dinner then, and yes burger and fries do count as dinner.

Laters!”

“For Kuribo, a love for video games and Nintendo started early. After playing NES and Super Nintendo at a friend’s house, he has been playing video games ever since. While he likes Nintendo best, Kuribo collects video games and has systems ranging from the original Game Boy and Nintendo 64 all the way up to the modern systems like Wii U and 3DS. is not about the video games so much as the toys and figures that Nintendo and other companies make for Nintendo fans. It started with an Amiibo addiction, but eventually spread to other figure lines including World of Nintendo and Nendoroids. It is a great time to be a Nintendo fan and if you ever have had an interest in owning a version of Mario, Kirby, Zelda, or Star Fox, and covers them all. As the owner of , Kuribo not only reviews new figures and covers all of the latest releases, but also tries to educate new collectors on the hobby and keep the passion for Nintendo and its loveable characters burning in fans across the world.”
