1 Up for a price drop.

After four and a half years, it’s finally happened. Despite Nintendo previously stating they had no plans for a price drop and the brand new Nintendo Switch OLED model releasing next month, the base model for the Nintendo Switch is finally getting a price cut in Europe and the United Kingdom. The notable difference can be seen on Nintendo’s own Nintendo Store pages, which in the UK, now has the likes of the Neon Red & Blue and Grey Joy-Con models, available from the lower price of

Other local retailers are starting to change their prices now to reflect the change, but don’t go expecting a price cut in North America, as Nintendo themselves have commented the trade price adjustment is for Europe and the United Kingdom only:

“The trade price adjustment is for the European region only. There are no plans to change the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price for any Nintendo Switch model in the U.S.”
