If you are having trouble finding every last Heart Squid or Nugget in Shantae and the Seven Sirens, fret not as our simple guide will point out each and every location of all 36 Heart Squids and 50 Nuggets. Heart Squids can be found both in the overworld and inside labyrinths. Nuggets, on the other hand, are only found in the overworld. This guide will contain spoilers of sorts so please use this guide at your discretion.
We have listed the locations of the Overworld and Labyrinth maps separately. Each Heart Squid and Nugget are numbered with brief descriptions on where to find them and what powers are required. We also would like to point out that Labyrinth 6: Flying Fortress is not included in this guide as it does not have any Heart Squids or Nuggets.

Heart Squids
#1 Inside cave. Requires Frog Fusion Magic to acquire.
#2 Inside cave. Requires Drill Fusion Magic to acquire.
#3 Inside cave. Requires Newt Fusion Magic to acquire.
#4 Use Quake Magic to make a statue and Heart Squid appear.
BONUS!: Master the Dance Minigame in Tree Town for another Heart Squid.
Nuggets
#1 Inside withered plant. Use Refresh Magic to rejuvenate.
#2 Inside the chest.
#3 Use Shock Magic to activate windmill. It will blow away sand to uncover nugget.
#4 Inside withered plant. Use Refresh Magic to rejuvenate.
#5 Inside an invisible container. Use Seer Magic to turn visible.
Island East
Heart Squids
#1 Inside Cave.
#2 On top of platform. Requires Newt Fusion Magic to climb.
#3 Inside Cave. Require Octo jet to jump onto out of reach platforms. Use hair whip to turn the platforms over.Nuggets

Help, I’ve gone through this entire walkthrough to check that I have all the hearts, I couldn’t find any that I was missing, but I’m still short one. All my caves are done, I checked and all my labyrinths are done, and all the non cave overworks ones, even the dancing reward, seem to be done too. HELP.
Hi there, unfortunately as there is no checklist in the game, it is very easy to overlook if you have got everything in an area or not. Before writing this guide, we went through every inch of the game multiple times in order to find the collectibles. The only thing we can really suggest is going through each area and checking each location again. One possibility is on the tour route. This heart squid is easily missable the first time around but you can get it after the cave in by talking to one of the scientists.
Hii, This map/guide is really helpful, thank you so much for making it, but would you happen to know if there is a way to get the nuggets and heart squids in the tour route after the ship has flown off? Or would i need to restart my run?
You can actually get these apparently by talking to the scientists that stand outside each blocked off section of the tour route.
Heart Squid #3 on Island East can be obtained much earlier, by using the Seer Dance to make platforms appear.
