Music to our eyes!

For those of you who were able to secure a copy of the Collector’s Set for Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, well done! It was not an easy task and the vinyl it comes with, it’s a work of art, but it’s not the only means of being able to listen to some sweet Xenoblade tunes.

As part of the set, there is also a Music Download Code, which can be found hidden inside the Steelbook. So, if you feel like downloading 20 tracks to your device, allow us to tell you how:

Step 1: Unbox your Collector’s Set and remove the Music Download Code booklet

Step 2: With a fingernail or a coin, expose your 16 digital code

Step 3: On the device of your choosing, make sure you are signed into your Nintendo Account and visit: nintendo-europe.com/soundtrack

Step 4: With a fingernail or a coin, expose your 16 digital code

Step 5: Presented with a language selection page, select the language of your choosing

Step 6: With a fingernail or a coin, expose your 16 digital code

Step 7: Once a language has been chosen, you’ll be taken to a webpage where you will need to input the 16 digit code and confirm you are not a robot. (Code can only be redeemed by one Nintendo Account)

Step 8: With your code entered, you will now see all 20 songs available for downloading. You can download multiple songs at once and if you ever need to return to download page for any reason, the link to use is: https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Misc-/Xenoblade-Chronicles-Definitive-Edition-Soundtrack/Xenoblade-Chronicles-Definitive-Edition-Soundtrack

  1. Hello,
It seems the website is finally fixed, I managed to redeem my code. If it doesn’t work in your local language just switch to UK/Ireland

    1. That’s great news! I’m glad they finally fixed the website. Thank you for letting us and our community know.

  2. I have the exact same issue, i’ve trying to redeem the code but i haven’t been able to do it.

when i try to login it seems to be in some kind of loop where the process gets broken and the website does not verify that you logged in properly.

i’ve received a few mails confirming the attempt to access the site, but it simply cannot authenticate it..

i also sent a mail to their “support center” but i have not received any response.

  3. Hello everyone, I was able to redeem and download the songs back then, did it on the first day of the game’s release, however when I try to go back to the download page right now, I am experiencing the same issue that’s described in your comments
Can someone who also were able to redeem the code check if they can still access the download page? All I’m seeing is a thin grey bar on a white page

  4. Same problem as many:
Whatever I open on computer or phone, since I entered the code, only a small grey bar seems to appear…

    1. I think everyone with that problem should mail Nintendo support so that they fix their web page
I’ve sent them one 10 days ago, still waiting for their reply. If someone find the solution, please share here

      1. A lot of people have had problems and tried contacting Nintendo. If you have yet to claim the music from Nintendo, please email us at contact@miketendo64.com.

We can provide you with a temporary solution until Nintendo fixes the problem..

  5. I do have the same problem :/ I contacted Nintendo 3 weeks ago but still got no answer so I started testing some stuff. Despite all of my testing, I didn’t manage to download it. I used different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Microsoft Edge), used different operating systems (iOS, macOS, Windows), I used vpn to access the site from another country, I created a second Nintendo Account. Since none of this worked, I think it’s a problem on Nintendo’s site.

  7. I’ve tried this with multiple browsers already on my Acer notebook and my Samsung smartphone and it just won’t load the page correctly. All it displays is like 1cm of the grey-ish background that the page is supposed to have, but neither the logo nor the instructions or the “Redeem” button get displayed on my screens (only if I choose UK & Ireland as my region, the instructions are there but the rest still isn’t). Any idea what I could try to make it work? Not gonna lie, this make me a little bit mad :/ Is it possible this only works on Apple devices (as of now)?

    1. This is curious, as I have been able to successfully download the music to a Samsung S7 and S10e. I use Chrome as my browser of choice on both devices and also successfully downloaded the music onto a Toshiba satellite laptop, running Windows 10.

    2. I’ve booted the site up again now am having no issues with it. Able to download the tracks effortlessly. If you’d like, we can talk via email so you can send images of what you’re seeing.
