Nintendo UK have announced that new gameplay for Luigi’s Mansion 3, Astral Chain, Link’s Awakening and recently announced titles will be showcased through In-depth gameplay videos during Gamescom. DAEMON X MACHINA, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes Of An Elusive Age Definitive Edition, and The Witcher III: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will be playable during the event as well as the likes of Link’s Awakening, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield.

NINTENDO TO DELIVER NEW GAMEPLAY FOR LUIGI’S MANSION 3, ASTRAL CHAIN AND MORE DURING GAMESCOM THIS AUGUST

Tune in from 20th to 22nd August for in-depth gameplay videos of already announced Nintendo Switch software launching in 2019

1st August, 2019 – On top of bringing a host of upcoming playable Nintendo Switch titles to gamescom in Cologne, Germany from Tuesday 20thAugust, Nintendo will also give fans around the world a series of in-depth looks at several already-announced titles launching in 2019, including Luigi’s Mansion 3, ASTRAL CHAIN, and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

In a series of videos to be published from 20th to 22nd August, Nintendo of Europe product experts will showcase new gameplay from the following Nintendo Switch titles:

Meanwhile, visitors to Nintendo’s booth in Hall 9 at gamescom in Cologne, Germany from Tuesday 20thto Saturday 24th August will be able to go hands-on with a range of upcoming games coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019, including Luigi’s Mansion 3, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield, DAEMON X MACHINA,DRAGON QUEST XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, and the first hands-on with The Witcher III: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition. All titles will be playable on the flagship Nintendo Switch console.

Whether visiting in-person or watching from home, fans of competitive Super Smash Bros. Ultimateaction are in for a treat, as invited players from last season’s Smash Ball Team Cup will compete in the one-off Nintendo Live: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate gamescom 2019 Invitational on Thursday 22ndAugust. The victorious players will fly to Japan for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Challenge Cup, held at the Nintendo Live event in Kyoto on 14th October, and compete as a European squad against qualified teams from Japan and North America, as well as a multi-national team of top players, in a special gala tournament. Fans will be able to get involved by nominating the players they’d like to see compete at gamescom. TheNintendo Live: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – gamescom 2019 Invitational, happening live in the afternoon of Thursday 22nd August, will be livestreamed in English on the Nintendo UK YouTube channel. Stay tuned for further announcements.

In addition, Nintendo’s stage at gamescom will play host to the first country qualifiers in the upcoming seasons of the Super Smash Bros. UltimateEuropean Team Cup and Splatoon 2 European Championship, which will be livestreamed in German on Friday and Saturday afternoons respectively.
