In case you haven’t heard, the new update for Fire Emblem Heroes, which is planned for early March has dropped and it’s almost as substantially big as the last one, so here’s what we know about it:
What’s in Store for the 2.3.0 Update:
A new type of special map called Rival Domains, where you can fight with a large army (called a brigade), will be released.
Rival Domains is a game where your goal is to capture the enemy’s camps, defeat your foes within 10 turns, and strive to earn high scores.
You can deploy up to 20 Heroes in these battles—and you can even recruit allies from your friends for these fights.
Starting on 3/16/2018 11:00 p.m. PT (for those in Europe, it will be 17/3/2018 08:00 CET), Rival Domains with be updated with a new map every week at Friday at 11:00 p.m. (Saturday at 08:00 CET.)
You can learn more details on Rival Domains and Edit Brigades from the notifications on those specific topics or the in-game help menu.
*Note: From within the Rival Domains screen, tap Edit Brigades once to unlock the Edit Brigades option in the Allies menu.
A new map type where you can earn Orbs, Hero Feathers, and more is coming—Blessed Gardens!
Unlike other types of maps, there are restrictions on which Heroes can be deployed: your team of four Heroes must be formed from either Heroes who grant the corresponding Legendary Effect or Heroes who have received the corresponding blessing.
Please note that duplicate Heroes cannot be deployed. (Even if the correct blessing has been conferred, only one of each Hero can be deployed at a time.) The first time you enter the Blessed Gardens, you’ll get four Water Blessings, meaning anyone can jump in right away. Furthermore, in the Garden of Water, the blessings of other elements can be earned, which will open the path to taking on the other gardens.
Starting on 3/10/2018 11:00 p.m PT (11/3/2018 08:00 CET for Europe), maps will be added every week at Saturday at 11:00 p.m. (Sunday at 08:00 CET.)
New Weapon Skill, More Weapons to Refine:
Soren: Shrewd Strategist has a new character-specific weapon skill at 5★: Wind’s Brand.
The following weapon skills can now be strengthened with Arena Medals and Divine Dew for added effects:
Sieglinde – Hero who can learn this skill: Eirika: Restoration Lady
Brynhildr – Hero who can learn this skill: Leo: Sorcerous Prince
Wind’s Brand – Hero who can learn this skill: Soren: Shrewd Strategist (Wind’s Brand must be learned in Learn Skills first.)
*Note: To access the Weapon Refinery, after clearing Book I, Chapter 13 in the main story, you must clear the second Intermission map, The Rite of Blades.
- When looking at a Hero’s detailed profile page when they appear in the Friend List, Arena, etc., you will be able to see the associated player’s name.
- Starting with the next Voting Gauntlet, if you lose a battle, you can choose to deploy your Heroes again right away.
- A colorless dragon unit is planned to be added.
- In Settings, Sorting by Level has been added. Depending on how you set your options, the number of merges can be ignored when sorting Heroes by level in the Edit Teams screen.
- iOS devices will no longer automatically go to the lock screen while downloading data.
We hope you find this informative write-up more to your liking and has you more in the know about a mobile game you just happen to adore.
