Hello and welcome back to Jacktendo Selects, the monthly Miketendo64 feature where I go into my Top 6 Switch games of the month that just ended, talk about the game I’d happily recommend and the one I’m looking forward to this February!

To get things properly underway, having played them and reviewed them, here is my list of the Top 6 games that made it onto my list for January, in both photo and written form:

Jan 2018.jpg

8/10 (Recommended)World to the West

8/10 (Recommended)SteamWorld Dig: A Fistful of Dirt

8/10 (Recommended)Draw a Stickman: Epic 2

8/10 (Recommended)Dustoff Heli Rescue 2

8/10 (Recommended)Shu

7/10 (Pleasant)RXN -Raijin-

It’s certainly a mixed bunch, and Lost Sphear clearly isn’t on the list as I never got round to picking it up, but I am pleased with my selection as these, since they do offer plenty variety from one another. Moving on from the 6 games that did make it onto my list, it’s time to talk about one that didn’t because it is one I’d happily recommend to any and all willing to give it a try. So, without putting it off any further, January’s Jacktendo Selects title is none other than 10 Second Run RETURNS! I know it is a very basic looking game, but I really liked it and feels it is a god fit on Switch, especially since each level only require 10 seconds to beat them, with the levels in question, capable of offering a real challenge, the further into the game you progress.

With regards to the game I am looking forward to for this month of February, as much as I would like to pick either one of the Bayonetta games, I can’t, purely because I have both of them already, for review purposes. Instead, the game I am looking forward to the most this month, is Fe. Zoink Games are a great video games developer and Fe, just looks incredibly beautiful, and well worth the wait!
