Though Nintendo Switch owners have yet to get the update for NBA Playgrounds that will eventually bring online mode to the game, Saber Interactive are still working hard on getting it ready and have included a couple of improvements as well.
Firstly, the file size will be reduced by half which is great news because the games’ file size is just over 7gb. That will free up enough space to squeeze another digital game onto the Switch’s 32gb storage memory, maybe to make room for Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn, when it comes out in Fall perhaps?
The game’s resolution will also be increased though it was not specified whether it will be 1080p or not. Online mode and all the other features that were included in the update that was released for the other versions of the game (PS4, XBox, etc) will also be included.
This information came to be when Saber Interactive CEO Matt Karch, responded to fans via Facebook. You can check out the comment from Facebook below which was screen captured and posted on twitter by user @GunaUk.
