New images showing Map sketches from Sonic The Hedgehog 2 have been brought to light by Hirokazu Yasuhara, who worked on the game as its planner. We have included the images below which came from Twitter User Brandon Sheffield courtesy of @Yasuhara so you can see for yourself. One map shows that there was another zone planned for the game “Genocide City Zone” which was cut from the final product.

  1. This is pretty cool, I wish that more Sonic games had an overworld map view so you could see how the Zones fit together
