For a long time gamers and fans of the Shantae series alike have been harbouring thoughts that a Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Switch release was going and guess what? It is!

Not only has WayForward on Twitter confirmed the recent Shantae game for the new Nintendo console, but it will release this Summer and XSEED Games are on board to handle the physical release. But before we get to excited about that, it doesn’t necessarily mean there will be a physical release for North America and Europe, as there wasn’t for the Wii U version of the game, but here’s hoping we’ll get confirmation and soon.

But that’s not all, WayForward have also shared on Twitter that the Switch version of the game does feature HD Rumble in the form of 150 custom-made HD Rumble events, which is very interesting news indeed, but is all the news we have to share today as no other details have been shared yet, but they have been promised to be shared soon and when they do, we’ll be sharing them right here!

  1. The Wii U got a physical release in North America (with soundtrack), l don’t know how you missed that.
