If there was just one thing fans hated about Splatoon 2, it could very well be the map rotation that happened every 4 hours and it is making a comeback.

 

Well get ready to hate that kind of thing once again as it has been confirmed in EDGE magazine that map rotation is in fact returning, only it happens every 2 hours instead of 4 and you can view Splatoon 2 Producer Hisashi Nogami’s brief comments on it right here:

“We feel that part of the gameplay is actually selecting which weapons would be best for that combination of two maps. In Splatoon 2, the maps rotate every two hours, so it’ll be a much faster cycle than the previous game.”

 

I know plenty of you hoped this would not be, but it has, so don’t let it discourage you since you have put up with it before so you can put up with it again (provided you played Splatoon 1 on Wii U). But be honest, every 2 hours is a lot better than every 4 and should you disagree, feel free to do so in the comments below:
