Just in case it wasn’t apparent that the Nintendo Switch is a home console you can take with you anywhere, (that’s not underwater) for anytime, (provided there’s still some charge in the battery), for any reason, Nintendo of America have devised a new means to ensure we get the message!

So what kind of a message is it? Well it’s a very visual one in the sense that Nintendo will be setting up “interactive living room-inspired spaces in places you would never expect, bringing surprises to every stop” and the very first of these experience is to happen on the 23rd of February at Blue Cloud Movie Ranch and actor/WWE Superstar John Cena, will be making an appearance, as he showcases 1-2 Switch.

All official details on the upcoming roaming event can be seen here:

“Each of these Nintendo Switch experiences will be an absolute spectacle, featuring visuals that remind people of home gaming, but set in wildly unexpected places. Seeing these familiar settings set against dazzling backdrops like the open desert, snowy mountains and bustling city will drive home how Nintendo Switch transforms any space into a place to play.”

Got to give credit where credit is due, Nintendo are certainly thinking out of the box on this one and then setting up that box in some bizarre locations! Nice move Nintendo of America.

  1. Well, THIS is certainly ambitious. Consider me intriuged. I don’t know how often I’ll be out of my house with the Switch, but to those that roam and game, this could be interesting.
