Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia might not be out till the 19th of May in both Europe and North America, but that hasn’t stopped Nintendo from sharing all new screenshots, and overview that you can see right here:
“The glorious past is reborn in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, only on Nintendo 3DS family systems.
Inspired by Fire Emblem Gaiden, which released exclusively in Japan in 1992, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia recreates classic Fire Emblem gameplay with a modern twist, mixing in exploration of towns and dungeons.
Dual protagonists Alm and Celica will join others locked in a tragic war dividing the continent of Valentia. Conflicts will come to life in cut scenes created by Studio Khara and every line of dialogue has been fully voiced*.
Free-roaming, dungeons crawling with enemies, flexible character progression – everything that made Fire Emblem Gaiden unique is present in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadow of Valentia, only on Nintendo 3DS family systems.”
Going by all this, I’m sure we can all agree that the difference between Fates and Echoes, couldn’t be any more noticeable even if Intelligent Systems tried and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. More content such as this is expected in the coming months, so if you haven’t decided on getting Echoes yet as you require more time to make your mind up, there is still plenty of time between now and then.

I am looking forward to this. Hopefully it is more fully featured than Shadow Dragon.
