Remember when we did that whole article about the fact that Fire Emblem Heroes supports Google Play Games? Well today we know exactly how it is supported.

Essentially it works as a google alternative to My Nintendo. When an android player first logs into the game, they do so via their google account. Players will be given the choice to link to their My Nintendo account and if they have one and do link to it, they will be able to complete a number of in-game My Nintendo Fire Emblem Heroes mission and earn Platinum Points, but if they don’t, players can go on to complete Google Play Achievements instead and while they are similar to the My Nintendo missions, there are more Google Play achievements to complete instead.

Below you can find a list of both My Nintendo Missions and the Google Play Achievements so you can see how they differ:

My Nintendo Missions:

  • Link Fire Emblem™ Heroes to a Nintendo Account = 1o0 Platinum Points
  • Clear the Prologue = 100 Platinum Points
  • Clear Chapter 1 = 100 Platinum Points
  • Clear Chapter 2 = 100 Platinum Points
  • Clear Chapter 3 = 100 Platinum Points
  • Clear Chapter 4 = 100 Platinum Points
  • Clear Chapter 5 = 100 Platinum Points
  • Clear Chapter 6 = 100 Platinum Points
  • Clear Chapter 7 = 100 Platinum Points
  • Clear Chapter 8 = 100 Platinum Points
  • Clear Chapter 9 = 100 Platinum Points

Google Play Achievements:

  • Clear Prologue = 1,000 XP
  • Clear Chapter 1 = 1,000 XP
  • Clear Chapter 2 = 1,000 XP
  • Clear Chapter 3 = 1,000 XP
  • Clear Chapter 4 = 1,000 XP
  • Clear Chapter 5 = 1,000 XP
  • Clear Chapter 6 = 1,000 XP
  • Clear Chapter 7 = 1,000 XP
  • Clear Chapter 8 = 1,000 XP
  • Clear Chapter 9 = 1,000 XP
  • Get Torchlight Castle = 1,000 XP
  • Get Columned Castle = 1,000 XP
  • Get Carpeted Castle = 1,000 XP
  • Get Ornate Castle = 1,000 XP
  • Get Royal Castle = 1,000 XP

So as far as the android version of Fire Emblem goes, a My Nintendo account isn’t actually necessary, but it is optional, but hey, before all we could do was speculate on how the Google Play Games support would work, and now we know!

  1. Hi! I know this is kinda off topic however , I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in exchanging links or maybe guest authoring a blog article or vice-versa? My site discusses a lot of the same subjects as yours and I believe we could greatly benefit from each other. If you might be interested feel free to send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Wonderful blog by the way!

        1. Scratch that, today the Google achievements have suddenly started to be unlocked as well as the My Nintendo ones.
