With FDG Entertainment teasing us about a possible Oceanhorn port to the Nintendo Switch, we chose to get in touch with them for answers.

What they said in return you may already know as we covered an article on that already, but what you might not know is the fact that we actually had the chance to interview Thomas Kern, the Producer of Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas and while we have yet to post our interview, allow us to share with you something of an interview spoiler that pertains both the 3DS and the Nintendo Switch:

We never considered a 3DS port because the game wouldn’t run on this hardware. Maybe the New3DS but we didn’t want to split our fans up into good/bad 3DS owners. However we love Nintendo which is the reason we announced it for an anonymous Nintendo console. I think it’s not that hard to guess which platform we’re aiming at.” – Thomas Kern, Producer of Oceanhorn

For more interesting bits of information just like the comment we got above, make sure you check out the complete interview hen we post it next month, but yes, it seems Oceanhorn really is coming to the Nintendo Switch!
