What We Learned From the NicoNico Pokémon Sun & Moon Stream!

Today NicoNico, streamed over an hour of new Pokémon Sun & Moon footage and while there might not have been any and ground-breaking news and shocking reveals, we did in fact get to learn a couple of new things:

• Makuhita is number #056 in the Alola dex.
• Every time you catch a Pokémon, the Rotom Dex will keep you informed on your Pokédex completion by telling you your current percentage.
• Alolan Meowth is number #045 in the Alola dex.
• There are a total of 7 trials in all.
• Trial Captain Ilima’s trial consist of you finding and fighting Alolan Rattata and a Totem Alolan Raticate. Trial takes place in a cave and completing it will see Ilima reward you with a Z-Crystal.
• Grass shaking makes a return but its function appears to differ.
• There is a new animation of wild Pokémon leaping out at you.

Also shown off in the demo is another look at Sun’s room, battling other trainers and members of Team Skull and there was even some new Battle Royal footage for us to sink our teeth into and just in case you haven’t seen the footage for yourself and you want to, you can find it right here:
