Koei Tecmo’s Hyrule Warriors & Hyrule Warriors Legends has been quite well received and has been well buffed with Downloadable content that keep fans playing and wanting more. There has been five DLC packs for the Wii U already and the 3DS version of the game has jut received it’s second but there is another two to come for both consoles which bring with them new characters and weapons. Information has surfaced that the three new characters that are coming in the Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks Pack (Due out in September) and A Link Between Worlds Pack (Due in November) have been identified by name via Spriters-Resource.com. Because this post contains spoilers, if you would like to know who the new characters are, please read beyond the break.
In the Japanese version of Hyrule Warriors. Three names were found among the mugshots which are listed below:
– Ｔゼルダ – (T Zelda – Toon Zelda?)
– ラヴィオ (Ravio)
– ユガ (Yuga)
From the information listed on the official website, we know that there is one character available in the Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks pack, and that there are two characters included in the A Link Between Worlds pack. “T Zelda” would no doubt be for the PH/ST pack and most likely means toon Zelda from the Nintendo DS games of the same name. Ravio and Yuga are surely from the A Link Between Worlds pack however, none of this information has been confirmed by Nintendo or Koei Tecmo so this should be treated as a rumour at best. As rumours go, it would actually make a lot of sense for these characters as Toon Link & Tetra are already in the game so Toon Zelda wouldn’t be much of a stretch though I personally thought Linebeck would probably have made an appearance. Both Yuga & Ravio are certainly interesting choices as it would be intriguing to see what kind of movesets they would have and how they would differ from Link & Ganondorf.
