It was just last month when Nintendo put out the new Legend of Zelda timeline, showcasing every game that had since been released and re-released since 2011 and now Nintendo have made the inclusion of A Link Between Worlds and Tri Force Heroes official.

With the 30th anniversary of Zelda and the release of Twilight Princess HD, announced in Nintendo’s Japanese newsletter, a number of the older Zelda games are now available at 30% off in the eShop. This information comes to us thanks to an all new depiction of the established Zelda timeline, except now both 2013’s A Link Between Worlds and it’s 2015 sequel, Tri Force Heroes have been included.

Officially cemented into the Fallen Hero Timeline, both games are positioned between 1993’s Link’s Awakening and the game that began the entire series, 1986’s The Legend of Zelda. Although we already expected as much, it is nice to have Nintendo officially confirm it, but it would have been better if Nintendo held off for a few months, or year, so that upon the release of Zelda U, they could include the new game to the timeline as well.
