The Nintendo Direct has only just finished as I type this, but straight off the bat, Twilight Princess HD was officially confirmed and with no new features as such mentioned, the game will be getting its own amiibo and it will be releasing on the Wii U on March 4th 2016.

It may not be the Twilight Queen I was holding out for, but Twilight Princess was a phenomenal game and will be making its third appearance on home console, when already being playable on the Wii U, but that new cover, oooh! Only one thing wrong with it, it doesn’t have the 30th anniversary mark on it, tsk, tsk Nintendo.

There is another issue with it, both Twilight Princess HD and Hyrule Warriors Legends, with new character Linkle joining the party, with both seeing March 2016 releases, with TPHD coming March 4th and HWL March 25nd which one do I buy first? But it looks like Nintendo is fated to repeat history, for in this year, 2015, in the first half we got a remaster of a classic Zelda title, Majora’s Mask and in the second half, we got the all new, still fresh, TriForce Heroes and now it’s looking like we will be getting the same for next year, with Zelda U loosely scheduled to appear closer to the years end, with remaster TP coming early in the year. (Whoooo!) Even now we’re still just lightly covering the Zelda greatness we’ve got in store.

Never before have I ever seen a game bundle that I just have to have, until now, the Twilight Princess HD bundle with the Wolf Link amiibo is just stunning, everything about the amiibo reeks of beauty and so much more than just your normal amiibo, especially when this one has a lot to offer where Zelda U is confirmed and the other Zelda amiibos also will work with the game too, details to come soon. Now staying with Zelda, TriForce Heroes will be receiving a new, free update, an all-new dungeon to play in with two new costumes, Linebeck and the Fierce Deity Armour and I for one can’t wait for the update, which is the 2nd of December.

One last mention of all things Zelda, both Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks are now playable on the Wii U as part of virtual console and should you buy one, you will get 50% off when you purchase the second one, provided you make you purchase before the 19th of November, so if you haven’t played either yet, now might just be the best time for you to do so.

Other fantastic news is Cloud is coming to Smash and there will be a special broadcast for Smash, sometime in December, and seeing as we’re now mentioning the other games that got shown, Splatoon got a mighty fine showing, with a new map on its way. Star Fox Zero looks amazing and will see a release on April 22nd on the Wii U, while on the 3DS there is both Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon and Mario and Luigi Paper Jam, an rpg that is bound to be an instant hit, the footage alone was breath taking and it’s still on going.

More news, updates and talk on this shall soon follow, but until them I’m going to enjoy the post show.

Till next time folks. Keep up the good fight and Keep on Gaming!
